The Victorian Parole Board as a whole and those who formed the decision to release this prisoner back into the community are culpable in my opinion. They have failed to understand this prisoner’s sociopathy and his risk to women and girls.
As a civil society, we need to review who makes up the Victorian Parole Board, what skill sets are needed. A priority should be placed on the safety of law-abiding citizens in the community, ahead of an individual prisoner’s rights to Parole.
