SAM, please understand me, I can full empathise with you, over what you know happened under the authority of Governor Grindley, Governor Quinn and his Chief Prison Officer Black Prince, notorious run H.Divison days, with his team of mongrel animal instinct basher and murderous predatory, screws, running terror and anarchy through the slot, in coward gangs of hand picked thugs. But in my experience, H.Divison was no longer a punishment regime, but a segregation regime, to keep rival prisoner enemies apart from stabbing, bashing, raping and killing each other. In a more strict , isolated way of high protection, and solitary confinement to cells, under lock down separation of main stream prison trouble makers and escape artists, for their own safety , more humane containment, methods of a strictly military prisoner management run regime of H.Division, which was run by better trained Prison Officers than the Basher screws, before The Dickinson Pentridge Prison inquiries, and prison riots, of 1974. When I WAS IN H.Division the un- official Governor of the slot was Mark Brandon Chopper Reid, and he was the billet with his offsider Juilian Knight, Craig Minogue, so it was nothing like the Bill O,Meally , and the Chris Flannery bad old days. Most of the brutal screws that you mention, were pensioned out or transferred to the security squad, main gate and tower duty, where they were to never have contact with prisoners again. A new more professional team of Prison Officers were trained for a firm but fair, more professionally, and accountable run H.Division, when I was posted therein 1989. There were still a few bashers in pentridge, but nothing like, in the old days. IF I was to go public and name corrupt screws I worked with , the law wont protect me from harm and payback, even if I was to ask to go into witness protection. I will not go into any detail here, you can call me a weak coward, and tell me to do my duty and man up. But at the end of the day, I would be signing my own death warrant, and get my right whack, heading for a un- marked grave, to keep me silent…. Look at the way it now appears that the highest ranks in Victoria Police, have maybe stitched up Former Detective Paul Dale over the Hodsons Police informers murders, and His accused corruption friendship with Carl Williams, that got him sent to acasia unit in Barwon Prison. Its starting to appear that Paul Dale could indeed be be innocent, of arranging Carl Williams murder by Matthew Johnson. And it could instead have been set up to happen in Acasia, by unknown Corrupt Prison Officers and even Corrupt Victoria Police connections in the Gangland. And Paul Dale was being used as the scape goat. He done a very emotionally interview with 3AW, Melbourne Radio Broadcaster Neil Mitchell, sound very convincing to me, and I had previously thought he may have been behind the Carl Williams murder. Now I am not so sure anymore. If Paul Dale is innocent of any Gangland involvement, and he has now wrote a book to clear his name, from his allegations ,of conspiracy to murder and corruption. Then who is or are,? the corrupt police and Prison Officers, that made sure, Carl Williams, was not going to be a crown witness in court over the hodsons murders. It is looking like a legal minefield, and especially after what has happened, to the Governor of Barwon Prison, David Prideaux, in 2012. He has suspiciously and mysteriously disappeared without a trace, in the remote Victorian high country, and was an experience bushwalker and deer hunter, and was armed with a high powered rifle, when he failed to return to his base camp, bush hut. And a extensive search of the remote mountain county, has failed to find his body or his rifle. and he looks like he could be the victim of foul play and corruption of the highest level. Also Governor David Prideaux , older brother was a Senior Prison Officer in H.Division, and one of his other brothers Paul Prideaux, who was the twisted branch in a honest family, was once a sentenced armed robber,in Pentridge A.Division, and has redeemed his ways, and has said, he will not ever give up searching for the unexplained disappearance of his well respected brother, who was an honest Prison Officer and Governor of H.M.PRISON BARWON. He has a story about the Barwon Prison connected disappearance of his brother, on The Australian , Magazine web site, titled, MY BROTHER KEEPER, The disappearance of Barwon Boss David Prideaux. The now notorious Acasia High Security Unit, is the modern day prison version of the old H.Division. And the high calibre of dangerous inmates in Acasia unit, well lets say this, that if any of them ever get released back into the free world. The Gangland wars, and the tit for tat, power plays, for control of the streets and drug trade of Melbourne, will be on again for young crim, and old crim. Victor Brincat, Christopher Wayne Hell Angels Hudson, Greg Brazel, Matthew Johnson, Terry OMG, Arsonist Tognolini, Craig Minogue, it wont be just rent a kill, it would be kill and conquer for the thrill of it. Just like many of the prisoners in the 1970,s that were let out of the slot of H.Division, they went back out in to the free world, like Chris Flannery, and Stanley Taylor and extracted their pound of flesh and killed with out mercy, in a all out bang, causing immense collateral damage, and many victims, in their dead set institutionalized upbringing of powerless to stop by the violent forced rape and violence inflicted on them by the boys home, reform school masters, and followed by the brutalizing in Pentridge prison H.Division. and Boys Homes as the brutality of the slot, and harsh boys homes had programed them to do. As you said Sam, they went in Pentridge as Armed Robbers, or knock about crims, and normal prisoners who took no shit from the hard arse screws, and after being charged in Governors court for insubordination, were brutalised, in the most violent way of military bastardization methods, to break them, down mentally and torture their minds into submission, which in effect, had the reverse consequences and made them , want to fuck the world, love , hate and kill for the sake of hate and revenge towards the state of a brutalised authority brought down upon their twisted already criminal minds, into stone cold killers .
