What really both haunts and angers me, for all these years now, since I left the Prison Service, in 1994. Is that the passionate mercy for criminals, by a bleeding heart legal system. Always has and still does, even in 2013, continue handing out light sentences, way below the sentencing acts maximum sentence. And along with parole and early release. E.g Adrian Earnest Bayley with a dangerous and violent, rapist criminal record and numerous stints in gaol, still only get 15 years out of a maximum of 25 years, which a judge has the power to sentence him for rape, if he or her so choses!.. And these judges of criminal justice are case after case with there compassion for criminal rights, keep getting fooled by these cunning, manipulating and often intelligent scheming jail wise inmates, Peter Norris Dupas, Steven James Hunter, Adrian Earnest Bayley, Paul Denyer, Juilian Knight, Ivan Milat an the worst of the worst, are all prison institutionalised serial vexatious litigants and appellants of the courts, to this very day, while they are behind bars. And likes of so many more of their kind of predators inside Australian gaols, who get masters degrees become professors like Prisoner: Craig Minogue who done the Russell Street Victoria Police terrorist bombing in 1986. He is soon due out of jail, after doing his 28 years. And like so many prisoners has been educated and become a jail house lawyer, with other Victorian Prisoners who have educated them selves as lawyers. This lets them construct and prepare themselves and help other prisoners , locked up with them ,with their endless appeals, and ransoms and demanding of their human rights to the prison correctional system, by very cunningly showing the appearances of being smart and of a model prisoner of good behaviour in prison, with the exception of Steven James Hunter, who was already serving time for a brutal murder of a young women in 1986, and was an escapee and drug trafficker and a gang enforcer. He was sentenced to serve only17 years for that brutal crime. And was to have his sentence reduced by appeal, and given early release. He went on to re-offend with more brutal violence, and drug trafficking crimes. Served more time in prison and again and again granted parole and let free . The courts and the judges, as always with their leniency to hardened criminals, keep getting fooled by these evil men, that appear to have been reformed and rehabilitated. I knew all those years ago, from 1989, that these, scary creepy scumbags were all deviouts, dangerous and were beyond redemption. And so did the police. The most horrible violence, sexual rape and the tortures, the mutilations and disposal of there next victims bodies is beyond the darklands of human compassion and sane behavioural empathy. Because they were all deemed safe to release, time and time again, and unsupervised and given so many changes at freedom, even though, any Prison Officers, myself included, and the police and these prisoners case workers and behavioural science psychologists and prison psychiatric professionals who had worked with these inmates, for many years , while they re-offended in and out of gaol. The system kept giving them all, another chance. And the innocent community and all their new victims, payed the ultimate price, the senseless loss of theirs lives by brutal monsters, that were let out of their cages, and to continue their blood lust frenzy on who ever prey they so chose to stalk, hunt and kill, like a wild beast. What could, and should of been preventable by these predatory serial psychopaths was not considered or looked into thoroughly by the parole boards and courts justice system, with their balance of the scales of justice towards the prisoners rights and social justice and human rights, the legal system works by. And against the welfare and safety of victims at these beasts hands. And this is the end result of that failure. If only the system had been harsher and tougher, against these types of recidivist criminals and made sure they instead made sure they were securely locked them away in maximum high security gaol for the term of their natural lives and never to be released, and or even sentenced to capital punishment and given the death penalty…….And Criminals rights today, are still above the closure to their victims. Nothing changes. Its all about the protection and human rights and forgiveness of the guilty criminals.
