Yeah Sam that is correct, David Ali the Armed Robber from Keithy Faures gang had the lowest CRN, out of all the Prisoners, most of the prisoners had 4 numbers up to 6. Some of the old time prisoners had 3 numbers. A couple of Prisoners named Peter Lawless, Leon O,Geary and Trevor Jolly had very low CRN ,s as well. , I remember David Ali CRN 4 ,when he arrived at H.M.Loddon as I had to strip search him off the bus and issue his new Prisoner I.D with just the number 4, with his new Loddon photo on it. although Im sure that was about 1993, because he was given a job working as a billet in the prison kitchen. And Pentridge was not closed then till 1997. I had never seen such a low CRN. out of all the prisoners i knew from Pentridge. If he was the last prisoner to leave Pentridge, he must have been paroled from H.M.Loddon, and then re-offended and sent back to Pentridge some time after 1994. Served more time in Pentridge and then sent back to H.M.Loddon in 1997.
