It was interesting to see a post after a pregnant pause, and that 2 words stood out for some of us. I haven’t had the opportunity to respond until now, but those 2 words ‘litigious family’ stood out like dogs’ balls, and I did quickly try to send via my iPhone a response, but got caught up in life and didn’t finish it… From memory, I was asking whether this was relevant to the family of the recently murdered woman, whose name also stood out due to the similarities with Allison’s case, or the Clay family, or the Baden-Powell legacy, or a combination of all.
Is it time to switch and create ownership of a site not governed by anybody else? By ownership, I don’t mean financially. If it is a simple procedure, for a techno savvy blogger, as while we complain about the mechanics of the site, we are really putting ourselves in the hand of another, to organise our lives, dependency, non self-sufficient, controlled by another….mmmmmmm, trying to say, as we are alive and functioning, are we not in a position to take the bull by the horns, and sort ourselves out as opposed to replying upon a virtual stranger, about whom we really know nothing…whether it is fact or fiction that he or she actually exists, whether it is a ‘dummy’ site for collection of information etc.
Sometimes, I have wondered about the authenticity of the face behind the site, as while we sit and complain about technical issues etc, this site was a gift for the coming together of like-minded individuals with one common theme, to understand the situation, seek justice, express empathy etc, so irrespective of who, what, when, where and how, I have appreciated this forum but is it time to stand on our two feet, collectively, and move forward to something created separately, but with the same goals in mind. Just asking? I am a just a Joe Blow with no real skills, no intimate involvement with Allison, but a female, a mother, a lover and not a fighter, who has been disturbed by what has happened, and would like to see the truth revealed, and those responsible, punished for their actions.
