Mmmmmmmmm. Well, I’ll be buggered, as this old nag who is devoid of the sophisticated technogical intelligence of others, navigated her way to…..tada…..the lounge. FIGJAM!
Ok. If this is where I was directed regarding my flagging the idea of an alternative venue or forum to come together to ensure the longevity, survival and preservation of a valued opportunity to discuss a heinous crime, I shall attempt to prove my innocence of attempting to disrupt/poach/ambush this current site.
At the time of writing my ‘suggestion’, there had been issues with this site, and given that it does have its dysfunctional dynamics, some of which had been raised. As I believe in being pro-active, I suggested what one would to improve upon a process.
As mentioned above, I have no technical nouse, hence the journey traversing the landscape taking so long to reach this destination. I had to fight wild boars, crawl through thick vegetation, drink polluted water and sleep rough. Most could have done it with the click of a button but old, spent nags who have lost their eyesight and teeth, who are lame and diminishing brain power, can lose their way. I then had a moment of clarity and remembered that I was not an old nag but a little fish. I panicked with the realization that my mental capacity was indeed, impaired.
Please brain, stay focused for just a brief while so I can spill what is suddenly clear before I forget…that is right, I was explaining my thoughts of wanting to ensure an area remained alive to continue discussing, debating and debriefing after a horrible, senseless murder.
I think I remember I am doing this because I stumbled upon ‘the Lounge’ and I remember that this is the place to put suggestions forward. I also now remember the feeling when that was suggested. It is funny because I reacted strangely to that suggestion then and understand why now.
The poster who made the suggestion did so in good faith I now realise and I appreciate that. I think, as I don’t like conflict or confrontation and have a radar for certain personalities, my fight or flight process kicks in, sort of as a defense mechanism.
Glad I have found this place, after a long journey, as I can talk till I am blue in the face.
