As good as this news is, it does not bring Lisa back.

There are no pretty young women to hold his hand where he is going.

Let us hope the Rachel accepts the verdict, and moves on with her life, as she could have been next.

Detracted for a time from the victim’s family, all the way from Canada.
Lisa Harnum’s mother, Joan remained dignified, gracious, though clearly deeply anguished. Her courage shone through like a beacon through dark places.
She offered words of love, support and wisdom to help others avoid such a terrible situation.
She expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who helped with Justice.

There is no need to concern themselves with collecting their personal possessions, nothing matters except their own safety and well being.

Dan, well said, I find that the Victoria police are being more proactive now to reported Domestic assaults and their response times to a incident is now being taken more serious, and with a quicker response time, than has been the case in the past. They are becoming more respondent, professional and understanding towards the victim, when they act on a report of Domestic Violence being reported on a emergency 000 call. Having just the other day having witnessed an aggressive violent assault on a young lady, who lived near by me, in a block of public housing units. I immediately observed and reported to them, a woman needs urgent help, from a possible domestic crime. When I heard this women screaming out, while the offender was bashing her. By the time I got to her unit, the male offender ran off quickly to his car, and sped of down the road. Less than a minute later, 4 male, Police Officers and two divisional vans arrived at the scene, with their full tactical equipment and firearms ready to make an arrest. I felt so bloody powerless that I hadn’t got to the women quicker, but now days you hesitate, because of the risk to your own life by a crazy violent offender. I was only in thongs an was unable to run after the speeding vehicle, to get a look at his number plate. But lucky the police just arrived at the crime scene after The Offender had just got away by a matter of seconds speeding in his powerful vehicle, driving recklessly down the road. But the police were able to put out a APB, to another police unit and other police were to later catch him, as his vehicle and the offender were well known to the local police. And the assaulted lady was able to give police, his vehicle registration number, and his name to the police. Hopeful this quick action by the police tracking him down and arresting him and locking him up. Saved what could have been another brutal murder, or at the very least another victim with life long physical and mental injuries. I first saw this violent male low life drive into the victims driveway only two minutes before he started to bash her up. The problem with going to the aid or help of a victim being assaulted by a aggressive violent male, is that the witnesses can also become a target of the aggressors anger. So it can be a potentially dangerous situation to approach and help the powerless victim, at the very risk of becoming a victim as well. Also no one can be sure what alcohol influence or illegal drugs the offender is pumped up on. And or what dangerous police record the offender has or if they have been in jail, or have if the have their mates with them, its all a unknown quantity, and can make people very hesitant to help out, even though the defenceless lady was yelling out blood curling screams… This is why I now know that the other neighbours and other public housing residents in the block of units next to the assault victim, did not want to go to her help or get involved, and were to afraid to leave their units, because they were too scarred of the offender, or what violence he was capable of and they all stayed inside their units, and saw nothing. And would not talk to the police… Also the victim could not escape or walk away from the perpetrator, only scream out loud, because, he took her by surprise and overpowered her in her own home. Domestic Violence victims are at the danger and mercy of this type of dangerous overpowering offender and are unable to defend them selves, and there is little chance of getting any outside help, because it is a silent home invasion. And a lot of times, the victim being assaulted, can not be heard by any other people or neighbours nearby .
And that is why a lot of Domestic Violence, goes unreported, or the offender gets away with it.
The Gerald Baden Clay and Simon Gittany murder cases, most likely started out as Domestic Violence, by these two , and also with Adrian Earnest Bayley he was violent to his partners and his victims of all his rapes and eventually went on to stalk his poor innocent victim Jill Meagher as seen on all the CCTV footage. This is testament to their violent, overpowering natures, and the fact that they still see themselves as normal men and not guilty of their crimes, and harshly done by in their sentencing by the courts. The same with young Sarahs murderer, Prisoner Steven James Hunter, he thinks he has been sentenced to harshly, and will be to old when he eventually gets out of prison. Its time for the sentencing and appeals judges to Stand Up and ignore these dangerous list of growing violent men, and set an example to them all, that they need to be locked up in jail for life or a very, very long time, and suffer a isolated, hard life in the overcrowding prison………….. After all their victims, will never ever get another chance at life, because these lifetakers showed them no mercy.!……………………………………………………………..
And I Agree with you Bill, these modern crims don’t know what being locked up in the old J.Division Young Offenders Dorms or YOGS and the Old C.Division vagrancy, paupers cell blocks and E.Division Dormortries in the late 1960,s and early 1970,s….. They were indeed hard times, and breeding grounds for up and coming crims. And places of gang rape at night time after lock up. That was one of the reasons for shutting down Pentridge, to do away with the Dorms. But the new modern Prisons are starting to now double bunk their single cells, because of the now crisis in police lock ups and the prisons all now getting overcrowed, because of the increasing crime today out there in the wild streets. ditto …Simon Gittany found GUILTY of the murder of Lisa Cecilia Harnum. Justice was done, the judgement was thorough IMO. Much of SG’s evidence was found to be insincere and shallow, made up from borrowed details and “unconvincing” in the opinion of the Judge. WOW! Gotcha!

And as for the murderers defence lawyer she was nothing but a kinky lowlife scumbag that fancied her clients as mentioned above she cried when the cobby killers got life. It would be great if a current affair could track her down and ask her a few questions on why she fell in love with evil, see how she handles that because the past can come back to haunt her because some of us don’t forget.

Getting back on track I remember the day the cops arrested Cox in Doncaster I actually admired him for being so elusive, sly and clever just like a fox. He served his time.

It is possible that Mr Cool, or Cruel, is still living in Melbourne, and could be reading these blogs!…. and could even still be active in his cunning movements of driving or walking around, looking for and stalking of potential victims. He may even be one of the recent suspects that have been driving around Melbourne Suburbs, attempting to lure young kids, as reported on many occasions of late, seen in a 1980,s white van.???……….. But he always seems to get away, before someone can identify him, he is always one step ahead, of being caught in the act of his stalking. So this current offender cant be a idiot or stupid, perhaps luckly for his potential victims he has been scared off, during his recent attempts. but whoever this offender is smart and quite possibly has a criminal record or some sort of form, as a sex offender, as he appears to be active in his white van. And if it is a series of isolated incidents, then their must be a lot of other sex offenders out driving or walking around Melbourne Suburbs who are also isolated incidents. And it must be also noted here that poor young Siriyakorn”Bung”Siriboons aduction is still un-solved and appears to be a similar style of crime to that of Mr Cruels in the Karmin Chan aduduction, even though the police have ruled out any connections???… This latest stalker, he or his accomplices haven’t just woke up one morning and tried to abduct, and possibly worse, sexual assault or murder their victim.
It is true that Mark Anthony Jewell was in Pentridge Prison at the time of the 3 July 1990 abduction and The Karman Chan Murder, but he did have a similar form and a cunning sexual offenders apatite for ang growing deviant style of stalking, snowdropping patterns of offending, much like, Mr Cruel, as he also stalked, tried to abduct and even raped his victims, and also continued to reoffend long on serveral occasions, over long periods of time, long after he was released from Pentridge. And it is also possible that Mr cruel wasn’t committing all his crimes alone. But in fact had other deviates helping him. in a pedophile ring. A lot of the sex offenders and pedophiles that were locked up in the ”B”.Division Annexe Special Purpose Unit under strict Protection, were all very buddy, buddy and shared a pattern of similar sick and deviate interests and gloated and bragged with each other in and out of Victorian Jails, in the time span during the Mr Cruel crimes. And many of them were in the 1980,s and 1990,s, the most dangerous and sick twisted child sex offenders of their time. Some of them are still residents of The Corrella Village of the Dammed, Child Sexual Offenders and Pedophiles walled safe house town in protective custody at the Ararat Prison. And many of them continued to, because of the softly sofly do- gooders of justice, gave then another chance or granted them parole, un-checked, set them free, un cured, giving them new identities and secret locations in which to live their newly released pardons from prison and free to continue to reoffend as recidivist sex offenders, right under the radar of the law. Someone out in society must know or suspect them of being a stalking sex offender, driving around the suburbs, with evil abductions on their minds. If this is just one man acting alone, he surly has to soon, leave behind some evidence, or make a mistake, which will lead the police to his capture and arrest.
